My name is Steve Black and over the years, I've started and built a number of different businesses, some more successful than others. As I ran and grew those businesses, I found there were some skills I just didn't have that I really needed to be able to scale. And, as I wanted to be as successful as possible, I set my mind to learning what I needed to know.

A lot of the time, it wasn't a business skill, but more of a me skill. Things I needed to get better at. And while I was going through this learning process, I found that there were three key areas that helped me to be and do better; mindset, productivity and leadership. Pretty much everything I wanted to learn fell into one of these three categories.

Whenever we're starting, running and growing a business, we need the right mindset. We need to be able to put ourselves into that "mental space" that gives us the best chance of success. Having a positive mindset helps us do that.

Productivity is obvious, right? But how many times do you go through a day thinking "Wow! I got a lot done today." Only to realize later on that it was just busy work. Not the work we needed to do be successful. Or we went through the day and kept putting off the most important task because it seemed overwhelming. 

And finally, Leadership. I don't believe anyone can be truly successful without the help of other people. Even if we're just talking about a mentor, coach or consultant, or a partner or spouse. And there are some of us that need a team so we need those leadership skills to be able to build and lead our teams.

There's a lot more I'll be sharing and pretty much all of the topics I plan to cover will fall into one of these three categories. Things like, goal setting, time management, procrastination, success, and habits, etc.

I'm going to share what I've learned over the years (and there's quite a few of them 😊) so that you can take that knowledge and apply it to you, your situation and your business. None of this is rocket science. None of it is hard to research or learn. However, my goal is to save you time by putting it in one place, so you don't have to go searching for it all over the internet. There's nothing worse than knowing you need to learn something, but having no idea where to start. As this is a work in progress with new content being added weekly, you'll need to let me know what you want to hear more of.

I'm hoping to save you time, help you be more productive and all the while, you'll be growing your business. Why waste the time trying to find out what and where to learn, when all you really want to do is learn that one thing. My plan is to deliver it to you right here.
